How Sinai Berakah collects, uses, and protects personal information on the Volentegy™ Platform.
Sinai Berakah (Pty) Ltd (Reg. 2012/057951/07) operates the Volentegy™ Mining Intelligence Platform. We are the Responsible Party as defined under the Protection of Personal Information Act 4 of 2013 (POPIA).

We collect and process the following categories of personal information:

We do not sell personal information. We do not share personal information with third parties for marketing purposes. We do not use Client Operational Data to train AI models.
Personal information is retained for the duration of the subscription and for a period of five years thereafter, unless a longer retention period is required by South African law (including MHSA record-keeping requirements).
On termination of a subscription, Operational Data is purged from Sinai Berakah infrastructure within 30 days of the termination date, unless the Client has requested an export.

We implement industry-standard security measures including encrypted data transmission (TLS 1.3), bcrypt password hashing, session token management, rate-limited authentication, and access controls segregated by tenant.
Operational Data is stored in a dedicated client folder on Microsoft OneDrive under the Sinai Berakah tenant, governed by Microsoft's enterprise data processing terms in addition to our own.
